Biography

Prof. Dr. Michael Lang is Head of the Institute for Austrian and International Tax Law and Academic Director of the LL.M. Program in International Tax Law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. He also has served as that university's Chairman of the Association of Professors and President of the Senate. Prof. Lang presently serves as President of the Austrian Branch of the International Fiscal Association (IFA), as a member of IFA's Permanent Scientific Committee, as the Chairman of the Academic Committee of the European Association of Tax Law Professors (EATLP), and as a member of the Executive Committee of EATLP. He has been a visiting professor at universities worldwide, including NYU, the Sorbonne, and PKU (Peking).
