Biography

B.A., University of Massachusetts; J.D., New York University. Professor Feinberg is a partner at Feinberg Group, LLP and was formerly the Special Master of the Federal September 11 Victim Compensation Fund. He was chief of staff for Senator Edward M. Kennedy from 1978-80, special counsel to the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee from 1975-78, and assistant U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York from 1972-75. Professor Feinberg was a law clerk for Chief Judge Stanley H. Fuld of the New York State Court of Appeals. An adjunct professor at the Law Center since 1977, Professor Feinberg has also taught at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, New York University School of Law, Columbia University Law School, and the University of Virginia Law School.
