Jonathan C. Fritts is an Adjunct Professor of Law who teaches a course in labor law.  Professor Fritts is a partner in the Washington, DC office of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP.  He represents clients in collective bargaining, arbitration, and litigation related to the National Labor Relations Act and the Railway Labor Act.  His clients include companies in the maritime, airline, railroad, construction, energy, retail food, and hotel industries, as well as manufacturing enterprises and private universities. Professor Fritts represents clients in all levels of the federal court system, as well as in proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board, the National Mediation Board, and in arbitration.  Professor Fritts also represents clients in the negotiation and administration of multi-union project labor agreements on major construction industry projects, and he advises clients on labor law issues in corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, plant closings, relocations, and outsourcings.  Professor Fritts is a former co-chair of the American Bar Association’s Committee on Practice and Procedure under the National Labor Relations Act.

Professor Fritts is a graduate of Georgetown Law, served on the Georgetown Law Journal, and was the recipient of the John F. Kennedy Labor Law Award.
