Prior to joining Huron, Peter was co-founder and Managing Partner of AdamsGrayson, a consulting firm that specialized in discovery consulting and management. Huron Consulting Group acquired AdamsGrayson in July 2012. He is a nationally recognized subject matter expert on discovery strategy matters, including electronic discovery, data forensics, management of information collection and review, and litigation support best practices. Under Professor Gronvall's leadership, AdamsGrayson garnered a national reputation as the standard setter in the data review space, delivering results of exceptional quality by leveraging technology to optimize data review. Mr. Gronvall's practice also focuses on providing strategic advice to law firms, corporations, and the investor community about the e-discovery marketplace, advising on technology and software platforms, and auditing and selecting among 'best in class' providers in content management, archiving, collection, and data processing.
Prior to entering the legal consulting space, Professor Gronvall practiced law at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP and Hunton & Williams LLP, where he built the core of his experience in antitrust, merger, and civil litigation matters. Professor Gronvall is a contributing member and author in The Sedona Conference, the nation's leading though leadership consortium that focuses on an array of issues relating to complex litigation, including e-discovery. He also serves on the Advisory Board of the eDiscovery Institute, which promotes analysis and dialogue on dynamic issues impacting e-discovery and case management. Professor Gronvall is a member of the American Bar Association, the Washington, D.C. and Virginia State Bar Associations, and several individual court bars.
