Peter Irvine is Associate Director of the Office of Aviation Analysis at the U.S. Department of Transportation, which is responsible for the analysis and economic regulation of international and domestic aviation. Professor Irvine has experience as a practitioner and manager in the areas of airline competition, international aviation policy, unmanned aviation, airports, capacity management, labor, and multi-modal transportation. Professor Irvine also provides budgetary and legislative guidance for the Office of the Secretary's regulatory programs. He has served as a staff lead for the Department's national, multi-modal infrastructure development program and aviation reauthorization efforts, as well as a visiting attorney at the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice.
