Leah Kang is a staff attorney at Forward Justice in Durham, North Carolina. Prior to her current role, Professor Kang clerked for the Honorable O. Rogeriee Thompson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and the Honorable Theodore D. Chuang of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. She was also a Law Fellow and then Staff Attorney at Advancement Project, a civil rights organization in Washington, D.C.

Professor Kang taught negotiation as a Special Topics Seminar Instructor at the Harvard Graduate School of Education from 2013 to 2016. While at Harvard Law School, Professor Kang also served on the teaching teams for the Harvard Law School Negotiation Workshop and for the Harvard Negotiation Institute's executive education programs.

Before law school, Professor Kang had the immense privilege of teaching 5th grade for three years in a New York City public school.
