Professor Kleinman is an Assistant United States Attorney. Before joining the U.S. Attorney's Office, he served as a Trial Attorney in the Department of Justice's Criminal Division for more than five years. He has prosecuted a wide variety of matters, ranging from misdemeanor, drug trafficking, and terrorism financing cases to computer crime and multimillion dollar fraud prosecutions. Before joining the Justice Department, Kondi clerked for a federal judge and worked for a Washington law firm. He has taught high school students, undergraduates, kids at a juvenile detention center, and men at a halfway house. Although he has been negotiating in some form or fashion during his entire life, he became particularly interested in the field while studying at Georgetown, where he took numerous courses in Alternative Dispute Resolution. In his spare time, Kondi serves as a public address announcer at various sporting events. He has been teaching at Georgetown since 2007.
