Data Sets ruler

This is the coded data set for the Mortgage Cramdown Study.  The data is from the Federal Housing Finance Board's Monthly Interest Rate Survey by state and by selected Metropolitan Statistical Area.  It also includes historical state Homeownership Rates from the Census Bureau and historical state Unemployment Rates from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.  The data is coded in several alternate ways.  For the code book, please contact Professor Levitin.

This Excel spreadsheet contains information about mortgage claims and property values for chapter 13 debtors from the 2001 Consumer Bankruptcy Project.  The data has been redacted to remove any features that could identify individual debtors.  Nonetheless, because of the proprietary nature of this data, it is made available only for academic research replication (peer-review) purposes.  If you are interested in examining this data, please contact Professor Levitin and the data will be made available upon receipt of a signed confidentiality agreement.

This is an original data set on the terms and background of DIP financing agreements.

This Excel file contains the data and graphs used in "All But Accurate:  A Critique of the American Bankers Association's Credit Card Regulation Study".  Data sources are indicated in the file.  Graphs © 2008, Adam J. Levitin.

Linked file contains comments, co-signed with Professor Katherine Porter of the University of Iowa School of Law, submitted to the Federal Reserve regarding proposed changes to Regulation AA (Unfair and Deceptive Acts and Practices).
