Professor Nokes is an Of Counsel at Caplin & Drysdale in Washington, D.C., where her practice focuses primarily on advising tax-exempt organizations. While a student at Georgetown, she served as a Legal Writing Fellow and Senior Writing Fellow in the Legal Research and Writing Program. As the Managing Editor of the Georgetown Law Journal, Professor Nokes edited numerous articles and student notes for publication; planned the journal’s production process; and oversaw the publication of seven issues. Her publications include the student note, E-Rated Movies: Coming Soon to a Home Theater Near You?, 92 GEO. L.J. 611 (2004), and she currently serves as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the scholarly journal, Taxation of Exempts.
