Miguel Noyola is a partner of Baker & McKenzie where he heads the Mexico practice in the Chicago LLP office. After earning his Mexican law degree from Universidad LaSalle in Mexico City in 1982, he earned a Master of Laws in 1984 and a Juris Doctor in 1986 from Southern Methodist University. Mr. Noyola is licensed to practice law in Mexico and Illinois. Mr. Noyola works primarily in the areas of foreign investment, tax and international joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions in Latin America, particularly with respect to Mexico. For many years, he has advised and written memoranda and articles on doing business in Mexico. Mr. Noyola has participated in and coordinated the legal aspects of many U.S./Mexico cross-border transactions. Mr. Noyola served as Chairman of the U.S./Mexico Chamber of Commerce, Mid-America Chapter, and is a member of the Mexico City/Chicago Sister Cities Committee.
