Sarah Rackoff is a Partner in the Projects Group of Ashurst LLP, where she specializes in high-yield project bonds and public private partnerships. She serves as sponsor's counsel, underwiters' counsel and bond counsel for various project bond, general obligation bond and revenue bond transactions ranging from billion dollar industrial facitlities to million dollar public libraries. Her expertise includes structuring transactions in the petrochemical, public power, transportation, healthcare and higher education sectors. Sarah also has experience advising distressed investors on Puerto Rico and Chicago Public Schools credits. Sarah served as sponsor's counsel for industry recognized transactions including the issuance of $1.2. billion of tax-exempt project revenue bonds to finance a $2.5 billion greenfireld fertilizer facility in Iowa and $232 million of publicly offered and privately-placed project bonds to finance a statewide broadband network in Kentucky. Prior to Ashusrt, Sarah was a Partner at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP and an attorney at the United States Agency for Interntaional Development.
