Professor Schwingler is a Trial Attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division, where he investigates and litigates violations of U.S. antitrust laws. Before joining the Department of Justice, Professor Schwingler served as a law clerk to the Honorable James Loken of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit before joining the Minneapolis law firm of Stinson Leonard Street LLP. Professor Schwingler's practice focused on class action, antitrust, racketeering, and financial services litigation. In addition to working at the Department of Justice, Professor Schwingler currently serves on the Editorial Board for the Annual Review of Antitrust Law Developments, a publication of the American Bar Association. He joined the Georgetown Law adjunct faculty in 2015.
