B.A., Wheaton College; J.D., University of Georgia. Professor Soucy is a principal with Deloitte in the Washington DC national office concentrating on quality and risk management matters. Prior to joining Deloitte, Ms. Soucy was the Associate Tax Legislative Counsel in the Office of Tax Policy of the U.S. Department of the Treasury where she had principal responsibility for the Office of the Tax Legislative Counsel in the area of tax administration and procedure. Prior to joining the Department of the Treasury, Ms. Soucy was an associate at Latham & Watkins LLP in Washington, DC concentrating in the areas of tax controversy and litigation. Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Soucy was a National Association of Public Interest Law Fellow at The Community Tax Law Project in Richmond, Virginia where she represented individuals and small tax exempt organizations in matters before the Internal Revenue Service and the United States Tax Court.
