Professor Umaña is a Senior Trade, Integration and Competition Specialist for the Inter-American Development Bank where he concentrates on the design of loans and technical cooperations for countries in Latin America. Prior to joining the Inter-American Development Bank he worked as an International Consultant for the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development and as an International Consultant for INCAE, the Latin American Center for Competitiveness and Sustainable Development. While attending Georgetown University Law Center, Professor Umaña was a fellow for the Law Center's International Economic Law Institute.
