Life After GULC: A Financial Planning Expedition

Law School graduates are confronted with a wide variety of financial issues that may be new to them. Georgetown Law and the Financial Aid Office want you to succeed personally, professionally, as well as financially. With this in mind, we have created Life After GULC: A Financial Planning Expedition.

This session runs approximately two and one-half hours and is a follow-up to the Federal Exit Interview and attendance at or completion of the online Exit Interview is a requirement to attending a Life After GULC session. During the Life After GULC session, we will provide you with a Financial Planning Workbook and direct you to online resources to give you information to create a financial plan that works for you. We want these sessions to be in depth and interactive and will cover the following topics:

  • Debt Management
  • Insurance
  • Home Purchase
  • Employment Benefits
  • Retirement
  • Family
