Georgetown Law Center Campus and Campus Living

We encourage students to live on-campus to enjoy the cultural exchange experienced by living, studying and socializing with participants from other countries. Spouses are welcome, but we are not licensed for children in the Gewirz Student Center.  Students wishing to bring their children must make other housing arrangements.

The modern student apartments have a kitchen, two bedrooms and a private bathroom and a living room; the "efficiencies" have a kitchen, two bedrooms and private bathroom, but no living room. Each bedroom has a desk, single bed, bed linens, blankets, and towels. Each kitchen will have some dishes, but no cooking utensils, microwaves or coffee makers. There are three television lounges in the building, one with a wide-screen television and VCR.  There is a coin-operated laundry in the building.

The Law Center Campus is within walking distance of America's most important legal and cultural centers including the U.S. Capitol, the U.S. Supreme Court, the Library of Congress, the monuments on the National Mall, and the Smithsonian Museums. Union Station and Capitol Hill have shops, movie theaters and restaurants. In addition, there are free outdoor concerts near the Capitol and at the Washington Monument each week.
