2004-2005 FINAL RESULTS

On June 30th, the 2005 Law Firm Challenge concluded yet another successful fundraising campaign in support of Georgetown Law.  Thirty-nine law firms and corporations employing almost 1,500 Georgetown Law alumni competed this year, a significant increase from the thirty firms and 1,153 alumni that competed in last year’s competition.

The 2005 Challenge produced several other notable accomplishments.  Five firms achieved 100% participation: Group 1: Debevoise & Plimpton, Keller & Heckman, and Troutman Sanders; Group 2: Williams & Connolly; and Group 3: Venable.  Troutman Sanders and Venable reach this mark for the third year in a row.  Additionally, Debevoise & Plimpton, Howrey Simon, and Hogan & Hartson each won in their respective groups for the most dollars raised for the Law Center. 

The firms and corporations competing in the 2005 Challenge were divided into three groups:  Group 1 represented firms with 25 or less Georgetown Law alumni; Group 2 included firms with 26-40 alumni; and Group 3 firms employed with more than 41 alumni.
