2005-2006 FINAL RESULTS

This year's Law Firm Challenge ended with impressive results.  Of the 1,400 Georgetown Law alumni employed at the thirty-eight Law Firm Challenge law firms and corporations, 52% generously contributed to the Law Center, an impressive increase over last year's 47%.

The 2006 Challenge produced several other notable accomplishments.  Five firms achieved 100% participation:Group 1: Debevoise & Plimpton, Kilpatrick & Stockton, and Troutman Sanders; and Group 3: DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary and Venable.  This was the second straight year of 100% participation for Debevoise & Plimpton, and four consecutive years for Troutman Sanders and Venable. 

A friendly competition led by firm-based volunteers, the Law Firm Challenge educates law alumni about the importance of giving back to the Law Center.  Participating firms enjoy greater visibility among Georgetown Law students and "bragging rights" for the year.

The firms that competed in the 2005-2006 Law Firm Challenge were divided in to three groups. Group 1 was comprised of firms with 25 or fewer Georgetown Law alumni, Group 2 consisted of firms with 26-40 Georgetown Law alumni and Group 3 firms had more than 41 alumni.
