FISCAL YEAR 2003 FINAL RESULTS
A record number twenty-six firms competed
in the 2003 Law Firm Challenge, a competition among
firms to raise awareness of and promote giving to
the Law Annual Fund. After making their own gifts
to the Law Center, Georgetown law alumni volunteers
at each firm, including both associates and partners,
ask their colleagues to do the same. The result
in 2003 was an impressive 54% participation by all
competing firms, an increase from 47% participation
in 2002. The following four firms achieved 100%
participation - a first-ever accomplishment since
the Law Firm Challenge was introduced in 1998: Keller
& Heckman, Troutman Sanders, Venable, and Williams
& Connolly.
The firms competing in FY2003's Challenge
were divided into two groups. Group 1 is comprised
of firms with 35 or less Georgetown alumni and Group
2 is comprised of firms with more than 35 Georgetown
alumni.
