United States Department of Justice Honors Program
http://www.usdoj.gov/oarm/arm/hp/hp.htm
The highly competitive Honors Program is the only way by which the U.S. Department of Justice hires entry-level attorneys. Selection for employment is based on many elements of a candidate's background including academic achievement, law review or moot court experience, legal aid and clinical experience, and summer or part-time legal employment. The Department also considers specialized academic studies (including undergraduate and post-graduate degrees), work experience, and extracurricular activities that directly relate to the work of the Department. For the 2009-2010 Honors Program, please apply online between July 25, 2009 and September 8, 2009.
LL.M. students
that will graduate between October 1, 2009 and September 30, 2010 are eligible to apply provided they commenced their LL.M. program within nine months following law school graduation and they are full-time students for the duration of the LL.M. program. For detailed eligibility requirements, see http://www.usdoj.gov/oarm/arm/hp/hpeligibility.htm#b
