  • Career-related advice provided in-person at our daily drop-in counseling sessions in the Graduate Programs office (on the 5th floor of the Hotung building) or in the Graduate Lounge (located on the sixth floor of the Hotung building, directly opposite the Office of Graduate Programs in Room 5008)
  • Small group workshops on job search strategies, resumes and cover letters
  • A select list of current networking events and job postings provided on a weekly basis through the Graduate Connections Newsletter (A tutorial on how to find networking events and job opportunities in the Newsletter is found here)
  • Interview and networking skills training
  • Introductions to D.C. firms, corporations, U.S. government agencies, not-for-profit organizations, consulting firms and multilateral organizations
  • A job search resource library
  • InterviewStream an online video-based interview system that allows Georgetown Law students to conduct virtual mock interviews from any computer that has a Web cam attached. Students may choose the type of employer with which they wish to interview (public interest, private sector, etc.) and the specific questions they wish to practice answering. As each question is asked, the student has a set amount of time to answer the question. The computer's Web cam records each answer and stores the recording online for review. This service essentially allows students to conduct mock interviews on demand.
  • Resume, cover letter and professional correspondence review, starting on September 6, 2011 for incoming LL.M. students
  • Speaker series and events, including presentations from distinguished alumni
  • Preparation for students participating in interview programs, specifically the International Student Interview Program (ISIP) and the Taxation Interview Program (TIP)
  • A Graduate Career and Professional Development-generated Spring 2011 U.S. Regional Resume Collection and International Resume Collection, which will provide the opportunity for students to have their resumes sent to employers all over the world. For a listing of the regions covered by the Spring 2011 U.S. Regional Resume Collection, please click here.  For a listing of the countries covered by the Spring 2011 International Resume Collection, please click here.
