The Penn World Tables
The Penn World Tables include data for 152
countries and 29 subjects and provide historical data for
the years 1950-1992. (Searchable by region, alphabetical list
of countries and topics)
International Trade Division
of the World Bank
Provides free access to the World Bank's working
papers covering various international trade issues. Also,
provides a link to the Bank's Trade Expansion Program. The
latter includes coverage of countries participating in this
technical assistance project.
The World
Factbook by CIA
Provides broad classifications by GDP per
capita for the world, selected world statistics, economic
profiles for Big Emerging Markets, selected OECD countries
and OPEC countries.

Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration,
Office of Trade and Economic Analysis
The source for data on U.S. trade with the
rest of the world. Includes U.S. Foreign Trade Highlights
(tables of goods and services by country and region); U.S.
Industry Sector Data (statistics for major manufacturing groups
and products); U.S. Foreign Trade Update (monthly analysis
of U.S. trade balances); Foreign Trade Reference Room (statistics
from U.S., other countries and international organizations);
and State Export Data (exports by state to the world and selected
markets for 1987-1997)
