NOTES


Notes are electronic yellow stickies. They are a great way to keep track of things.

CREATING A NOTE

  1. Open the Notes folder by clicking on the Notes icon, located at the bottom of the Navigation Pane.

  2. Click the New Note button in the toolbar or press the Ctrl+N keys on the keyboard.
  3. A blank Note will appear.
  4. Enter the text of your Note.

  5. Leave the Note open and minimize Outlook to have the Note remain displayed on the desktop or click on the X button in the upper right-hand corner of the Note to close and save it.
DISPLAYING A NOTES
  1. Open the Notes folder.
  2. Double-click on a Note icon to display its contents.

MODIFYING THE APPEARANCE OF NOTES
  1. To change the color of a Note, right-click on the Note icon and choose the option Color from the submenu that appears. Select the desired color from the list.
  2. To change the size of the Note icons – click on one of these three toolbar buttons:

  3. It may be necessary to resize a note in order to see its entire contents. To resize a Note, open the note and drag the lower righthand corner.
