Notes are electronic yellow stickies. They are a great way to keep track of things.
CREATING A NOTE
- Open the Notes folder by clicking on the Notes
icon, located at the bottom of the Navigation Pane.

- Click the New Note button
in the toolbar or press the Ctrl+N keys on the keyboard.
- A blank Note will appear.
- Enter the text of your Note.

- Leave the Note open and minimize Outlook to have the Note remain displayed
on the desktop or click on the X button in the upper right-hand
corner of the Note to close and save it.
DISPLAYING A NOTES
- Open the Notes folder.
- Double-click on a Note icon to display its contents.

MODIFYING THE APPEARANCE OF
NOTES
- To change the color of a Note, right-click on the Note icon and choose
the option Color from the submenu that appears. Select the
desired color from the list.
- To change the size of the Note icons – click on one of these three
toolbar buttons:

- It may be necessary to resize a note in order to see its entire contents.
To resize a Note, open the note and drag the lower righthand corner.
- To change your Notes default settings....
- Click on the word Tools in the menu bar and choose
the option Options.
- The Options dialog will appear.
- Go to the Preferences tab.
- Click on the Notes Options button.

- The Notes Options dialog will appear.

- Select the desired options.
- Click on the OK button.
- You will return to the Options dialog.
- Click on that OK button.
- Your new Notes default settings will go into effect immediately.
