Symposium Issue:

The Georgetown Journal of Gender & the Law is full for paper submissions for the 2007-2008 Symposium Issue related to the 2007 Spring Symposium - "Rights & Wrongs: Morality in the Gay Marriage Debate."

Each year, the Journal seeks submissions from legal professors, practitioners and students pertaining to the symposium issue. Please check back on our website next year for information on the next Call for Papers for publication in the 2008-2009 Symposium Issue.

General Issue:

The Journal will begin accepting submissions for Volume 10 on April 1, 2008. The Journal looks for articles or notes that further the Journal's mission of advancing feminist legal scholarship and examining the intersection between sexuality, gender and race. The Journal seeks to present a thought-provoking collection of pieces on diverse issues from a variety of perspectives.

Deadlines:

The Journal reviews submissions on a rolling basis. We are currently full for both the Symposium and General Issues of Volume IX. We will begin accepting submissions for the General Issue of Volume X on April 1, 2008. Please note that the Journal will not consider expedited requests from authors until that date.
