Call for Papers: General and Symposium Issues

 

We are currently accepting submissions for the following issues:

General Issue:

The Journal is currently accepting submissions for Volume XIV. The Journal looks for articles or notes that further the Journal's mission of advancing feminist legal scholarship and examining the intersection between sexuality, gender and race. The Journal seeks to present a thought-provoking collection of pieces on diverse issues from a variety of perspectives.

 

Symposium Issue:

The Journal seeks submissions from legal professors, practitioners and students pertaining to the symposium issue. We are currently accepting papers pertaining to the 2013 symposium topic, the 25th anniversary of the historic case, Gay Rights Coalition of Georgetown Law Center v. Georgetown University.

 

Submission Instructions

Submission Deadlines:

The Journal reviews submissions on a rolling basis. Space remains open for publication in Volume XIV (2012-2013).

 

Article Submissions:

Electronic Submission: (PREFERRED)

Submit documents in Microsoft Word where possible. To ensure prompt review of a submission, please email it to genderjournal@law.georgetown.edu and indicate in the subject line, "New Submission - Author's Last Name".

Student Notes Submissions:

The Journal is excited to offer the opportunity for students to enter an academic dialogue with leaders in the field of feminist and gender scholarship. The Journal welcomes submissions from students from Georgetown Law and other schools.

Submissions should be emailed genderjournal@law.georgetown.edu with attention to Student Notes Editor. Please include your name and the title of the article in the subject line.
