Manuscript Submission

All manuscripts submitted for consideration should be double-spaced and include an article abstract and CV. Citations must conform to A Uniform System of Citation, 18th ed. (the "Blue Book"), published by the Harvard Law Review Association.

In order to receive priority consideration, articles should be submitted via the Georgetown Article Management System. Our web-based service is available at:

http://www.law.georgetown.edu/AMSAuthor/

Please select the link for the Georgetown Journal of International Law. You can also access our submissions page directly at this link.

The Georgetown Journal of International Law continues to accept manuscripts via e-mail in Microsoft Word format, and in hard copy. (See How to Contact Us below for contact information.) However, these methods are not encouraged and may result in a delay in the review of your article. Authors submitting via ExpressO, as well, are encouraged to use the Georgetown system to speed review of their articles.

For authors with an outstanding offer of publication at another journal, expedited review can be requested through the Article Management System at any point after a manuscript has been submitted to the Georgetown Journal of International Law. To request expedited review, access the submissions website, provide the User ID and password that was e-mailed to you when you registered with the site, and select “request expedition” of the article(s). Please provide the Editorial Board with the information necessary to respond to your request in a timely manner.
