*The Sandra Day O’Connor Essay Contest is open to all J.D. and L.L.M. students enrolled in Georgetown University Law Center as of January 1, 2008. 

 

**The Contest period opens February 4, 2008 and closes April 7, 2008.  Winners will be announced on or before Law Day, May 1, 2008. Essay contest judges will be drawn from Georgetown Law Faculty, staff of the Sandra Day O’Connor Project, and members of the Sandra Day O’Connor Project steering committee. Essays are to be no longer than 2500 words, excluding endnotes, and should be submitted as a Word document. The entire document, including all endnotes, should be double-spacedn in 12pt. 'Arial' font.  Essays become property of the Sandra Day O’Connor Project, and may be republished with credit to the author.  All submissions should be sent to judiciary@law.georgetown.edu. Kindly request a read receipt when submitting your entry. Your read receipt is proof of your entry in the contest.
