Ann Hemmens is the Head of Reference. She previously held the positions of Assistant Director for Public Services at the University of New Mexico School of Law Library and Assistant Librarian for Reference Services at the University of Washington Gallagher Law Library. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois and her J.D. and Master of Science in Library Science degrees from the University of North Carolina. She is an active member of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) and its Social Responsibilities Special Interest Section, for which she served as Chair.
