Hannah Miller-Kim is the Head of Special Collections. Hannah joined Georgetown as a manuscript librarian. During her years at Georgetown, Hannah moved into the Special Collections Librarian position before becoming Head of Special Collections in 2023. She specializes in rare books and manuscripts with a focus on legal printing in Britain, 17th century British pamphlet culture and the anatomy of early printed books. Hannah is passionate about connecting students and researchers with legal history and teaching with rare materials.

Hannah obtained her B.A. in Ancient Greek Language Studies from St. Lawrence University and her M.L.I.S. from Simmons College. She has also studied at the University of Crete in Rhethymnon, Oxford University, and Rare Book School. She is a member of the American Association of Law Libraries Legal History and Rare Books special interest group, serving as Secretary/Treasurer for two terms. She is also a member of the Society of American Archivists and ALA’s Rare Books and Manuscripts division. She has guest lectured at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, England and previously co-directed a non-profit organization that developed mobile libraries in rural villages of Nicaragua.
