WASHINGTON, D.C. - Georgetown University Law Center Dean T. Alexander Aleinikoff has

Linda Davidson

appointed Linda D. Davidson as the new chief financial officer and associate vice president of business and financial affairs for the Law Center. Davidson succeeds David M. Greenberg, who left the Law Center last fall to become the associate vice president for finance and administration at Columbia University.

"Linda’s exceptional financial planning skills, institutional knowledge and work ethic have earned the deep respect of her colleagues," said Aleinikoff. "We are very pleased that she has agreed to serve the Law Center in this new capacity."

Davidson joined Georgetown University’s Financial Affairs General Accounting Office in 1987 and held a variety of positions there before becoming assistant manager of general accounting. In 1991, she moved over to the Law Center, where she has served as director of financial affairs and assistant dean for financial affairs.

A graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Davidson is a member of the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) and the Eastern Association of College and University Business Officers (EACUBO) and a board member of the Hoya Federal Credit Union.
