Charles Pruett

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Georgetown University Law Center Dean T. Alexander Aleinikoff has appointed Charles Pruett as assistant dean for financial aid. He succeeds Ruth Lammert-Reeves, who retired last year after twenty-eight years at Georgetown Law.

"We are grateful for Charles’ expertise and energy in taking on this crucial function for the Law Center," said Aleinikoff.

Pruett joined Georgetown Law’s financial aid office in 1997, serving as assistant and associate director before being promoted to director in 2001. Prior to coming to Georgetown, he worked in the office of student financial assistance at George Washington University.

Pruett received a B.A. magna cum laude from George Washington University and a J.D. from George Washington University Law School.
