NOTE:

Honorary degrees will also be awarded to Charles D. Swift, a lieutenant commander in the U.S. Navy, Judge Advocate General's Corps, who, along with Georgetown Law Professor Neal Katyal, brought the successful Supreme Court challenge of the Bush administration's military tribunals for Guantánamo detainees, and Ladislas M. Orsy, S.J., visiting professor at Georgetown Law.
