NOTE:

Hekmat Besisso, a Palestinian Muslim community trainer in nonviolence from Ramallah, was originally scheduled to participate in this discussion, but was unable to obtain the necessary visa to enter the United States.

The participants will discuss how the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has affected them and their families, their work for a peaceful future and what must be done to make peace possible.

This event is sponsored by the Georgetown Law Dean's Office, Office of Campus Ministry, Student Bar Association, Catholic Law Students Association, Muslim Law Students Association, Christian Legal Society and Women of Color Collective.  It is part of the 16th National Jerusalem Women Speak Tour, organized by Partners for Peace, a Washington, D.C., based organization whose mission is to help bring about a just and lasting solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
