ODOS: LGBTQ Resources

LGBTQ Student Resources and Support

LGBTQ

Georgetown Law supports and works to ensure the inclusion of all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, and intersex students.  The individuals and offices listed below serve as resources for LGBTQ students.  We understand that there are concerns and issues unique to the LGBTQ community, and invite you to call or schedule an appointment today to take advantage of the campus support services and programs available.

Office of the Dean of Students
ODOS serves as an advocate for all students and as a liaison between students, faculty, and the administration.  Mitchell Bailin, Dean of Students, is the primary contact for LGBTQ concerns at the Law Center.  He is also prepared to make referrals as appropriate to other Law Center faculty and staff members who are knowledgeable about LGBTQ issues and can assist students with their questions and concerns.  Call 662-4066 or email deanofstudents@law.georgetown.edu for more information.

Georgetown University LGBTQ Resource Center
The new LGBTQ Resource Center works to support LGBTQ community members and to help the university community better understand and address the unique needs and experiences of LGBTQ students.  The center is located in Leavey 325.  For more information, contact Shiva Subbaraman, Director, at 687-3546 or ss826@georgetown.edu.
