Di Wu

Di Wu, LL.M., is a law fellow at the O’Neill Institute. She holds an LL.M. degree in global health law from Georgetown University Law Center, an LL.M. degree in Civil and Commercial Laws from School of Law, Tsinghua University in China and a bachelor’s degree in journalism also from Tsinghua University.

When she was at Tsinghua Law, she contributed to projects on mental health legislation, access to therapeutic opiates, tobacco control, and the domestic development of health law education. She has volunteered as an HIV/AIDS awareness educator in Kenya, where she launched a self-empowerment project for slum girls in Nairobi. So far more than 100 girls were trained and she hopes the project will be operated sustainably.

In addition to the O’Neill Institute fellowship, Di is provided a non-stipend fellowship by the Women's Law and Public Policy Fellowship Program at Georgetown University Law Center.

Her global health law research interests relate to China’s health law, tobacco control, health diplomacy and women’s health.
