Di Wu, LL.M., is an associate at the O’Neill Institute. Previously, she was a law fellow. She holds an LL.M. degree in global health law from Georgetown University Law Center, an LL.M. degree in Civil and Commercial Laws from School of Law, Tsinghua University in China and a bachelor’s degree in journalism also from Tsinghua University.
Di has been working on the China Health Law Initiative Project (CHLI) since 2010. CHLI works with Chinese local partner organizations to conduct comparative research mainly on health care systems, occupational health, and food and drug safety.
Di also spent time at the O’Neill Institute working on the health and human rights database, a cooperative project with the World Health Organization, and the tobacco control litigation database, a collaboration with the Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids. In addition, she helped the International Women’s Human Rights Clinic at Georgetown Law with a project on the new constitution’s impact on preventing polygamy and child domestic workers in Kenya
Her global health law research interests relate to health care systems and health and human rights.
