Melissa Higdon

Melissa Higdon, as a Research Assistant at the O’Neill Institute for Global and National Health Law, works with faculty at the Georgetown University School of Nursing & Health Studies on a variety of projects related to healthcare systems, community healthcare improvement, and emergency preparedness.

Ms. Higdon earned a B.S. in Healthcare Management and Policy from the School of Nursing & Health Studies at Georgetown University. A member of the Health Systems Administration honor society, Upsilon Phi Delta, Ms. Higdon was a class representative for Academic Council and a frequent community volunteer. She plans to attend graduate school to further her studies in health policy or law.
