Summer Program

Faculty

The Summer Program is co-directed by Professors Lawrence Gostin and Allyn Taylor. The faculty of the Summer Program consists of other leading global health law experts from the O’Neill Institute, international institutions, such as the World Health Organization, World Trade Organization, academia, and legal practice.

Co-Directors

Lawrence O. Gostin, an internationally acclaimed scholar, is University Professor, Georgetown University's highest academic rank conferred by the University President. Prof. Gostin directs the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law and was the Founding O’Neill Chair in Global Health Law. He served as Associate Dean for Research at Georgetown Law from 2004 to 2008. He is Professor of Medicine at Georgetown University, Professor of Public Health at the Johns Hopkins University, and Director of the Center for Law & the Public's Health at Johns Hopkins and Georgetown Universities. Allyn Taylor, JD, LL.M., J.S.D., joined Georgetown University Law Center as a Visiting Professor of Law in 2007. She is also an adjunct professor of international relations at the Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies. With almost twenty years of experience as a scholar and practitioner in the field, Dr. Taylor is recognized as a leading authority in global health law. See Full Bio »
