Financial Support and Summer Funding

Georgetown provides substantial financial support to students and alumni pursuing public interest and government legal opportunities through a variety of different programs:

• The Loan Repayment Assistance Program – one of the strongest in the country offers assistance with law school loans for JD graduates pursuing public interest or government careers.
• The Public Interest Law Scholars Program offers tuition assistance to a small number of students who demonstrate a commitment to practicing public interest law throughout their careers.
• Summer Funding - In addition to scholarship and post-graduate financial support there are several in-house programs available to Georgetown students to help fund volunteer and low paid summer public sector internships as well as nationwide and regional sources of funding.
