Public Sector "Formal" Recruiting Programs:

Georgetown Law Government Interview Program (GIP)
Held over several days each September, GIP is a recruiting program for government employers interested in interviewing Georgetown students for PAID summer & post-graduate employment.

GIP 2008 is scheduled for September 18 & 19 at the Washington Court Hotel.  Employer information will be available in late June 2008.

OPICS Virtual Job Fair:

Designed to compliment more traditional recruiting methods, such as on-campus interview programs and job posting databases, the Public Sector Virtual Job Fair is a "high tech" job fair that we inaugurated in the Fall of 2007.  Watch for information on the expanded Fall 2008 Virtual Job Fair.

Georgetown/GW Public Sector Recruiting Program:
Every February, Georgetown Law and George Washington University Law School co-sponsor the Public Sector Recruiting Program, which includes over 150 local and national public sector employers.  Participating employers recruit Georgetown and GW law students through pre-scheduled interviews, resume collections and informal information exchange.

The 2009 GU/GW Public Sector Recruiting Program is scheduled for January 31, 2009 at the GW Marvin Center.

In addition, many Georgetown students interview and network at the EJW Career Fair, the largest annual gathering of public sector employers.

The 2008 EJW Fair is scheduled for October 10 and 11 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington DC.
