The Georgetown/George Washington Public Sector Recruiting Program January 28, 2012The Public Sector Recruiting Program is a daylong job fair for Georgetown and George Washington law students to interview for summer 2012 internships and a limited number of permanent positions with nonprofit organizations, government agencies and public interest law firms. The Program consists of prescheduled interviews, Table Talk (informal information exchange) and a resume collection option for employers that cannot interview at GW. The program is “prescreened,” which means that employers preselect the students they wish to interview. Every participating employer agrees to interview a similar number of GU & GW students. The Program is administered through the Symplicity site that exclusively houses the Public Sector Recruiting Program (Please note: it is not the same url as the Symplicity website that houses other Georgetown Law recruiting programs). Interested candidates can research employers, upload cover letters and resumes, “bid for” (request) interviews and schedule interviews online. Students are required to upload cover letters (in addition to resumes). Public sector employers prefer cover letters as part of students’ applications. Important: Please read the Student Instructions before researching and bidding for employers.
