Office of Public Interest and Community Service ruler

OPICS coordinates several recruiting initiatives including two major job fairs each year: the Government Interview Program, held annually in the fall, and the Public Interest and Government Recruitment Program, conducted jointly with George Washington University Law School and held each year in late January/earlyFebruary. Additionally, OPICS coordinates the Public Sector component of the Georgetown International Internship Program and assists students interested in participating in the Equal Justice Works Career Fair in October.

Equal Justice Works Career Fair

  • The Career Fair site opens on August 16, 2011
  • Students "apply" for interviews between August 16 and September 12
  • Employers select students for interviews between September 14 and September 28
  • Students notified of interview selections on September 30
  • Equal Justice Works Career Fair: October 21 - 22
