Government Interview Program (GIP)

  • Each Fall, the Office of Public Interest and Community Service sponsors a Government Interview Program for federal, state and local governnment agencies to interview Georgetown students for paid summer and permanent positions.
Click here for further information on the 2007 program.

The Georgetown/George Washington Law School Public Sector Recruiting Program: February 9, 2008 at the GW Marvin Center.

  • In February, our schools co-sponsor the Public Sector Recruiting Program, which includes over 100 local and national public sector employers. Participating employers recruit Georgetown and GW law students through pre-scheduled interviews, resume collections and informal information exchange.  The employer registration link will be available in mid November 2007. Contact Charles Curry for more information.

The Equal Justice Works (EJW) Career Fair

  • Each October, Equal Justice Works sponsors a public sector career fair that brings over 200 employers to DC to interview and exhange information with law students. We encourage our students to participate in the Fair and are happy to provide participating employers with additional opportunities to interview Georgetown students when they are in DC.
  • Note: The EJW Career Fair is not a Georgetown sponsored recruiting program. Interested employers can register for the 2007 EJW Career Fair on the Equal Justice Works Employer page.
  • New this year, The Virtual Job Fair is a high tech resume collect. We will actively market your internship and entry-level opportunities to students during discrete periods, at the conclusion of which, you will receive an electronic packet of resumes and cover letters from interested applicants.  Registration for the Fall 2007 Virtual Job Fair will be available beginning August 1, 2007.
  • If the timing of the Virtual Job Fair doesn't meet your needs, we can arrange for an individualized resume collection for you. Contact Charles Curry for more information.
