Office of Public Interest and Community Service ruler

Georgetown provides substantial financial support to students and alumni pursuing public interest and government legal opportunities. The Loan Repayment Assistance Program– one of the strongest in the country– offers assistance with law school loans for JD graduates pursuing public interest or government careers; the Summer Fellowships Program provides funding for students in unpaid public interest and government summer internships; and the Public Interest Law Scholars Program offers tuition assistance to a small number of students who demonstrate a commitment to practicing public interest law throughout their careers.
