Students
One of the best parts of attending law school in DC is our proximity to hundreds of local graduates practicing in the public sector. The Alumni Mentor Program connects Georgetown Law students with an amazing community of dedicated public interest lawyers. The program consists of three levels of involvement.

Career Conversation Roundtables: An ongoing series of lunch hour and/or early evening programs where alumni practicing in specific areas of law (e.g., international human rights, poverty, civil rights, etc.) speak candidly about their practice areas, offer job search advice, and respond to your questions and concerns. Roundtables are intended to be interactive sessions where students can informally meet and get to know our alums. The roundtables begin in early October.

Make a Contact: Have a question for one of our graduates about his or her work or opportunities in a particular city? Take advantage of our extensive network of graduates who are available by phone or email to offer advice. We make it easy for you. Just stop by OPICS and look through our alumni network binder for contact information on dozens of local and nationwide alumni mentors.

Mentor Match: If you are interested in meeting one of our graduates for more personalized advice and support, we can help make the match. Contact Lauren Dubin for more information. (Although we will make every attempt to match all students with an appropriate mentor, matches are based on alumni availability.)

Alumni
Our alumni are our greatest resource. Please take a moment to link to our Alumni Network Questionnaire to either update your information or complete the form for the first time. Either way, you will be part of a network of Georgetown graduates who can offer invaluable support and guidance to students and fellow alums seeking information on public sector options.
