2009 Public Sector Recruiting Program: Employers

The George Washington University Law School and Georgetown University Law Center are pleased to invite you to participate in our 2009 Public Sector Recruiting Program. Employer Registration will be available October 2008.We Provide Three Ways to Participate: INTERVIEW on-site: The on-site program will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at the George Washington University Law School Marvin Center (800 21st Street NW, Washington, DC) in two shifts: 8:30 am – 12:30 pm and 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Employers should choose either the half-day am or pm option (up to 11 interviews) or the full-day option (up to 20 interviews). One 20 minute break will be scheduled during each shift and all participating employers are invited to a buffet lunch. Resumes and cover letters of interested, qualified students will be available to employers in mid-January. RESUME COLLECTION (never leave your office!): Can’t make it to the program? Let us help you meet your hiring needs by collecting resumes and cover letters for you. You will receive student application materials by mid-January and you may invite students to interview by phone or at your office at your convenience. TABLE TALK: Speak informally with an unlimited number of candidates at the George Washington University Law School Marvin Center (800 21st Street NW, Washington, DC) on Saturday, January 31, 2009 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. Please note: Table Talk may be done in conjunction with interviews if you select the half-day pm option or bring two representatives for the half-day am option. Participants will be assigned to tables in an open area accessible to all students. Please note that Symplicity will automatically select the “Public Sector Resume Collect 2009 Option” unless you affirmatively change “Select Program Option” to “Public Sector Interview Option 2009.” We encourage you to consider interviewing on-site on January 31, 2009; the interview option allows you to meet up to 20 applicants, all of which are preselected by you based on candidate cover letters and resumes. How to Register: Interview Option: The Public Interest/Government Recruiting Program is administered through Symplicity, an online recruitment management tool.
