Teach High School Students & Seniors about Consumer Credit!: The DC Bar, in conjunction with the National Pro Bono Celebration, needs attorneys and law student volunteers to give one-hour PowerPoint presentations on consumer credit to high school students and senior citizens. Sign up for one or more presentations from October 27th through November 7th. Each student will be matched with an attorney for each presentation. Both the training and volunteering count toward the Pro Bono Pledge.

Election Protection: The non-partisan National Campaign for Fair Elections is recruiting field volunteers for Election Day, Tuesday, November 3rd to monitor polls in shifts for Virginia’s gubernatorial election. The work involves visiting polling places, helping voters with questions, and working with election officials to resolve issues. Both the training and volunteering count toward the Pro Bono Pledge.
