Final papers in seminars and other courses are due on the date announced in the academic calendar. Due dates for papers are as firm as the dates of examinations. All final papers must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar by the deadline announced by the professor. Students may email an extra copy of their final paper to their professor, only upon the professor's request, however students must still submit a copy of their final paper to the Office of the Registrar. You may submit your final paper online or in hard copy:
2. Office of the Registrar, Room 315 McDonough Hall to submit a hard copy of the paper. Papers cannot be submitted by fax, CD/disk or any other data storage device. If you experience technical difficulty in submitting your paper to the Online Exam/Paper Management System you may send it by email to examdropbox@law.georgetown.edu. Once a final paper is submitted for grading, no amendments, revisions, or supplements will be permitted or accepted. Please ensure that the final submission of the paper does not include extraneous markings (i.e. track changes) before uploading to the Online Exam/Paper Management System. Documents submitted will be forwarded to the professor as is. Failing to submit a final paper by the due date (including any extension) will result in a withdrawal from the seminar and/or course. The withdrawal will be reflected as a "W" on the student's transcript. Plagiarism - Please review the Student Disciplinary Code on Plagiarism

Paper Extensions By announcement at the beginning of the semester and subject to the maximum extensions set by the Registrar, a professor may advance or extend the due date of all papers for the seminar (except for those of graduating students). Extensions for more than the maximum are rare and may not be granted solely by the professor. Any request for an extension beyond the maximum is effective only upon review and approval of the Individual Extension Form by the Associate Dean for the J.D. or Graduate Program. Procedures for Obtaining an Extension:
2. Also available at the Office of the Registrar, Room 315 McDonough Hall. Note to International Students: U.S. visa restrictions dictate that extending the paper due date beyond the expected date of graduation as listed in the certificate of eligibility (I-20 or DS-2019 form) can be permitted only for compelling academic and/or medical reasons. Any such paper extension must be approved in writing by the Visa Coordinator in the Office of Graduate Programs, Hotung Building, Suite 6000 and/or gradprog@law.georgetown.edu, in advance of the paper submission deadline. Although faculty cannot grant these extensions, students must also obtain their agreement to any such extension.
