You will receive a letter at the end of August that contains your Faculty Access+ ID and password with expiration date.
This is a temporary password and will need to be changed before it expires. To do this, navigate to http://netid.georgetown.edu/, and click on “Change your NetID password.” Your new password must meet certain criteria. Enter your Faculty Access+ ID and password as listed in your letter, type in your new password (following the criteria given) and then retype the same password for verification.
N.B.: Sharing your password with your assistant or others provides them access to your confidential employee information.
Click on Faculty Access+. Click on “Login to Access+” Type in your Faculty Access+ ID and password then click “Verify.”
Class Lists
Faculty Access+ allows you to access up-to-date class lists. To see your class list, login to Faculty Access+ and click on the current semester, then click on the course title that you wish to view.
Please note that if you are teaching a cross-listed course, there will be two links for your course, one for the JDs and one for the LLMs.
Emailing Your Class
To email your class, once you are at the class list, click on “Select All Students.” This will check all of the boxes by the students names. Once they have been selected, click on “Email Selected Students.”
An email box will pop up where you can type your email.
There are email limitations within Faculty Access+. You cannot cc: someone on the email. To cc: someone you should check the box for “Send a copy of this note to me.” When you receive the email, simply forward it.
You also cannot send attachments. If you would like to send an attachment, you should copy and paste the email addresses into your regular email. To do this, highlight the email addresses and use ‘Ctrl-C’ for copy and ‘Ctrl-V’ for paste. Use ‘Ctrl-P’ to print the page.
