Credit/Tuition Options for Part-time J.D. and LL.M. Students ruler
  • Part time J.D. and LL.M. students serving as Global Teaching Fellows (GTF) have two options regarding credit/tuition: 
    • one credit option:  students will be charged tuition for the credit at the 2007-2008 per-credit tuition rate;
    • zero credit option:  students will be charged no additional tuition.  In such cases, the GTF course will be listed on the transcript as a non-credit course.
  • For students taking the one credit option, the following applies:
    • the credit will not count toward the credit maximum for the Spring semester.  For example, a second year part-time division student enrolled in 11 credits in the spring will not exceed the 11-credit maximum by serving as a GTF;
    • this a mandatory pass/fail course. 
    • Note to J.D. students:  no target grades are chosen for the course.  The pass/fail credit will not count towards the six credit pass/fail limit.  You may take another pass/fail course in the Spring semester.
