Exam Review Policy

Students can request to review their exams during a scheduled exam review period each semester.  Professors are not required to return exams once they have completed grading them.  However, more than half will return their exams to the Office of the Registrar (otherwise students make arrangements for exam review directly with their professors).  Some professors also make model answers or feedback memorandums available to their students.  One copy of these is kept on file in the Office of the Registrar.  The Law Library has them in print and electronic format.

Exam Review will be held at the following times:

Wednesday, October 1, 2008 - Friday, October 24, 2008

Fall 2007, Spring 2008, and Summer 2008 exams

Procedures for the Exam Review Period

  • To review an exam, first check to see if your exam is available either at the Office of the Registrar in Room 315 or by clicking on the appropriate semester below.  If your exam is not available through our office, you should contact your professor directly.
  • If it is available, you must complete the online form.  You will need your exam number to request the exams. You may only request your own exams or papers.  Exam numbers can be found on Student Access+ (under Classes and Grades, Grade Report). You will also need the course number when filling out the form.
  • Exams will be available for pick up after 24 hours.  We will hold your exam(s) for three days from the date of your request.  Exams that are not picked up will be re-filed and you will have to request them again.
  • Bring a picture ID with you. You do not need to return your exams to the Office of the Registrar. Please be aware that the Office of the Registrar does not keep additional copies of your exams and will not be able to provide replacements.
  • Feedback memos can be checked out from Room 315.  You must leave a picture ID and return the memos to the Office of the Registrar before the office closes for the day. Feedback memos can also be viewed at the Library
